MEMORIES OF University HALL BUCKLAND 1963 –
Introduction
The very successful reunion at ‘Teddy’ Hall Oxford in September 2023, organised by Alan Jenkins and David Young, triggered many memories by email. This document hopes to capture them for the amusement and nostalgic appreciation of all who were lucky to spend their student days at UHB.

1965-69
I’m just checking that this method of connecting works for me (25 June 2025, off the west coast of Canada). I had a glorious time at University Hall Buckland, and many stories of 1968-1971. I emigrated to Canada in 1978, where I started my own alternative Independent School (elemenatry school) in 1983, which lasted for forty years, closing 24 August 2024. I remain connected to those trying to resuscitate it.
